This statement is made in the light of the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998 in compliance with UK legislation, in order to alert you to the data processing practices which will govern the processing of your data:

1. How do we collect information?

We will obtain personal information from you when you enquire about our activities, register with us, or otherwise provide us with personal information.

2. What information do we collect?

The types of information collected may include names, e-mail address, postal address, telephone number, and in the case of online payments your credit/debit card details. Payments are made through the online payment websites JustGiving / CAF / EveryClick / CharityChoice / TheBigGive / Givey / Paypal.

3. How do we use this information?

We will use your personal information to provide you with the services, products or information you have requested and for administration purposes. When you provide your details you will be asked to confirm if you wish this to happen. You can change your mind at any time by contacting us.

4. Use of Cookies

A cookie is a small text file created by your browser and stored on the hard drive of your computer if you agree. There are two main types: Session and Non-session Cookies. Non-session Cookies are a means of websites remembering information that would otherwise be lost when your browser is closed (as is the case for session cookies). You have the right to contact us to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.

When registering with us, you will be given the opportunity to opt in to receive future marketing communications. This is done at the point where your personal information is first collected. Within the marketing communications you will always be provided a simple way to unsubscribe.
