“How can I raise money for a charity in Africa?” Raising funds for African charities can be challenging but don’t worry, SOS Africa is here to provide charity fundraising advice, support and guidance every step of the way…
Since 2003, philanthropic fundraisers from around the world have contacted our UK children’s charity to offer to raise funds for our education projects in South Africa. They often chose to fundraise for our charity because we guarantee that 100% of the funds raised will be invested in our charity projects in Africa. They also fundraise for African charities because they share our belief that only by empowering South African children through holistic education and care, can you help them fulfil their potential and break out of the cycle of poverty into which they are born. After fundraisers have organised or participated in charity fundraising events or challenges, they will also receive regular feedback demonstrating the life-changing impact made by the funds they raise.
The holistic education, care and support provided by the SOS Africa Charity to the African children we sponsor would not be possible without the vast array of charity fundraising events organised each year by these generous fundraisers and supporters. Because it is not always easy to know how to raise money for charity, SOS Africa assists charity fundraisers when choosing their fundraising event and advises them how to raise funds online and in person. We also provide regular help and advice with promoting charity fundraising events and communicating with event sponsors. Once the fundraiser for charity is complete, SOS Africa will then provide updates for fundraisers to share with their generous sponsors and supporters.
