Sponsor Youth Training Courses in South Africa

Sponsoring training programmes for young adults in Africa can provide them with essential skills and experience to improve their resumes and make them more employable. We strongly believe that by empowering the youth through the funding of effective training programmes, we can kick-start their careers and significantly improve their standard of living.

Sponsor Training and Mentoring for Young Adults in South Africa

In March 2022 SOS Africa launched a holistic training programme for young carers in partnership with The Village Collaboration and Procare, South Africa. The initiative was launched in response to escalating levels of youth unemployment throughout South Africa’s disadvantaged communities.

With 45 fully qualified care workers graduating in 2024 and the enrolment process for 2025 underway, SOS Africa is currently looking for sponsors for next year’s trainees. To provide 3 months holistic care worker training and work experience for a young adult will cost a one-off payment of £500 or 10 monthly payments of £50. In return, you will receive regular updates, including progress reports, photo albums and you can even correspond with your sponsored trainee via email or visit them at an SOS Africa Education Centre.
