In celebration of SOS Africa’s 21st birthday, the organisation opened its 5th Education Centre located in Gordon’s Bay. We start with a tour of this exciting new facility hosted by SOS Africa high school students Hazel and Karabo. A video showcasing SOS Africa’s Care Worker Training Programme

The next short documentary video features SOS Africa and The Village Collaboration’s new Care Worker Youth Training Programme. The initiative was launched in 2022, in response to rising unemployment among young women of Sir Lowry’s Pass Village. This exciting initiative has already provided holistic care worker training and certification for 45 trainee care workers.

SOS Africa Partners Mondeor School of Skills

SOS Africa sponsored student Gideon’s first term at Mondeor School of Skills

The next nonprofit video is a short charity documentary by SOS Trustee/Photographer Helena Krige. It features SOS Africa’s Gideon after his first few weeks at Mondeor Eco School of Skills. After struggling to settle in an academic setting, we believed that Gideon would be better suited to a practical curriculum. As you will see from the video, Gideon is thriving! Not only have his results, attitude and behaviour improved, but most important of all, he is happy.
