SOS Africa Charity Shop (21 High Street, Shepton Mallet)

Following the successes of our Ilfracombe shop, in April 2013 SOS Africa opened its second Charity Shop in Shepton Mallet, the town where the charity was first founded back in 2003 and the location of its UK headquarters. The shop, decorated with an African theme, was the result of weeks of careful preparation. The star of the show was Monduli the giraffe who recently rose to fame in Tanzania by taking a free dip in a local swimming pool. Our vision for the shop was that it should not only raise much needed funds but that it should open the doors to the local community and offer them value for money; this has proven to be true.
