As part of their holiday programme, last week the kids from SOS Africa Somerset West were treated to pizza and plate painting at Pottery House in Gordon's Bay...

Last week the kids from SOS Africa Somerset West got a big surprise thanks to Pottery House in Gordan’s Bay – a newly opened business run by a brilliant young couple, Kathleen and Beyon.

But, before the creativity started we filled our bellies with delicious pizza and homemade chilli mayo!

A brand new white plate can seem quite daunting at first. What to paint, what colour, what shapes or patterns?

Kathleen came round to offer more help and praise for the great ideas the children were coming up with.
