What a busy year 2023 has been for the SOS Africa children! In order to prioritise personal development over academic results, when the end of year chaos abates, the SOS Africa Charity staff ask each of our sponsored children to reflect on the previous 12 months and share their proudest moments. This self-reflection is so important, because it helps them develop self-awareness, core beliefs, decision making skills and most important of all, enables them to see just how far they have each come since the start of the year. Appreciating personal progress and achievements is essential when building confident and happy children.
We are delighted to share the proudest moments of our sponsored children in Somerset West, Grabouw and Elgin in the Western Cape, South Africa…

We are so proud of each and every SOS Africa child for all their personal achievements this year. After sharing their proudest moments from 2023, we then asked the SOS Africa children to set their own goals for 2024 to continue this personal development in the new year and we cannot wait to follow their progress along the way!
