An Exciting New Mix: SOS Africa Coffee Blend Launched by Sabins Artisan Roasters
16 Apr 2015
This week, Sabins Artisan Roasters, a coffee roasting company from the North Coast of Cornwall, have launched a special blend of coffee to raise funds for the SOS Africa Charity. The “SOS Africa Blend” is hand roasted in small batches using only organic, Fairtrade and Rainforest Alliance Arabica beans from single origin co-operatives and micro lots. Of each bag sold, £1 will be donated to the SOS Africa Charity’s education programme.
The beneficiaries of this exciting new venture will be SOS Africa’s Ameleo and Kayd. Emma and Paul Sabin, who set up the family-run business 18 months ago, have agreed to help support these Western Cape children throughout their education: “By working with a smaller charity we can feel involved and the donations go directly to the children and alongside our customers, we have the opportunity to follow their journey.”
SOS Africa trustee and coffee drinker Ann Crowcombe is delighted by the new corporate sponsorship: “A cup of coffee is the highlight of my day and a sip of this special blend will no doubt make my mid-morning charity shop break even more pleasurable. SOS Africa is very much indebted to the support of Sabins Artisan Roasters and we look forward to showing them the invaluable difference their support will make.”
