Ethical Clothing Company Just No Logo Launches Fundraising Campaign to Support SOS Africa
13 Mar 2015
SOS Africa is proud to announce the start of a new fundraising partnership with Just No Logo, an exciting new ethical clothing company based in Kansas, USA. From 13th March 2015, Just No Logo has launched the "Raise the Ordinary to the Extraordinary" campaign to help fund SOS Africa's education programme in South Africa.
Just No Logo recently contacted SOS Africa to ask if they could support our organisation because of our shared philosophies and the difference we both aim to make to lives of people in need. We are particularly excited to be able to work alongside Just No Logo because of their commitment to fair trade; their designers work closely between both factories and suppliers to make sure their products remain at competitive prices while maintaining fair wages for all involved.
Therefore, from today, in support of our education programme in South Africa, they have generously agreed to raise funds to pay for the school uniform of the children we send to school. To achieve this they have pledged to donate 50% of their sales to SOS Africa, an additional 10 cents for every new “like” and 20 cents for every “share” they receive on Facebook.
It has therefore never been easier to purchase fashionable clothing from a company which supports the wellbeing of its workers, whilst helping empower the lives of underprivileged African children through education.
We would like to say a big thank you to the staff and customers of Just No Logo for their support and encourage all of our loyal supporters to promote this new partnership by visiting www.facebook.com/justnologo or http://www.justnologo.com today.
