Another Future Secured Thanks to York St John Rowing Club
20 Nov 2010
On the 5th Of November York St John Rowing Club held their annual Bonfire celebrations. With over 300 students in attendance, this was the biggest and most successful bonfire ever held by the Rowing Club, and this event looks set to continue for many more years to come. The Rowing Club always shares the money made from this event, and after hearing bout the great work that SOS Africa does, we are proud to donate £600 towards the costs of supporting Dimpho, and any other children that the money will help. We will continue to donate this amount every year for the future of Dimpho's education, and we feel very privileged to be able to do so. As a club we traditionally distribute money to local charities, but after spending a year in South Africa, and learning of the great work SOS Africa does, I knew we had to help.
From me, and all the Rowers of the York St John Rowing Team, please accept our Donation, and the best of luck with all your great work!!
