Marketing Assistant (Part-Time)

Our Shepton Mallet office will shortly be expanding and is looking to recruit a part-time volunteer marketing assistant who is not affraid to get stuck in and make things happen. It will be excellent experience which will strengthen your CV and will help contribute towards the development of the charity in the UK and the empowerment of the SOS Africa children in South Africa.
 
Duties may include the following:
  1. Working with marketing, advertising, promotion etc including website and social media development.
  2. Working with fundraisers and charities to ensure that the marketing objectives of the charity are met.
  3. Establish marketing strategies to meet organisational objectives.
  4. Corresponding with media/marketing outlets.

 

Fundraising / Events Assistant (Part-Time)

Our Shepton Mallet office will shortly be expanding and is looking to recruit a part-time volunteer fundraising / events assistant to work with our staff and volunteers to help us coordinate SOS Africa's annual fundraising events. This post offers excellent experience which will broaden your CV and will help contribute towards the development of the charity in the UK and the empowerment of the SOS Africa children in South Africa.
 
Duties may include the following:
  1. Assisting with the strategic planning, organisation and running of a range of small and large scale events.
  2. Attending events/meetings as required. Flexibility will be necessary on such occasions as this may involve occasional evening or weekend work.
  3. Providing general administrative support to SOS Africa staff and volunteers.

 

Schools Liaison Assistant (Part-Time)

Our Shepton Mallet office is also looking to recruit a part-time volunteer Schools Liason Assistant to work alongside our staff to help raise awareness of the charity throughout local schools and youth groups. It would be an ideal post for a retired teacher or classroom assistant. 
 
Duties may include the following:
  1. Liaising with local schools and youth groups as part of our awareness campaign.
  2. Assisting with presentations/assemblies.
