Welcome SOSAfrica.com. Thank you for visiting our website. SOS Africa is a registered UK Charity (1105747). It was founded in 2003 by Matt Crowcombe, a student on his gap year and Henry Matthews, a teacher from Mafikeng, South Africa. Our non-profit organisation funds the education and care of underprivileged children from the townships of South Africa. We believe that 'the only way to break the cycle of poverty which continues to haunt South African society is through the provision of education to the nation's future generations.' Run a Half Marathon for SOS Africa!
Anyone for a Half Marathon?
October 18th represents a milestone for SOS Africa. It will be the 5th consecutive year that SOS Africa has participated in the annual Cardiff Half Marathon. Each year has seen more and more students from South Wales and around the UK join our team to raise money for the children we support. To date our Half Marathon runners alone have raised between £15,000 to £20,000 for SOS Africa! Even though the race is still months away our team is already bigger than it was last year and promises to raise more money than ever before!
